Terms and Conditions

Bookings:
North Essex Airport Transfers office is available between 08.00 and 19.00 each day. Emails will be answered within 12 hours of receipt; an answerphone is available on the telephone number.

To enable us to carry out your transfer professionally, we require at least 12 hours’ notice prior to the proposed booking commencing.

All bookings will require a mobile phone number, email address and full payment via credit or debit card or by Bank Transfer.

All bookings will be confirmed by North Essex Airport Transfers, by email.

It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure all booking details are correct.

An enquiry does not constitute a booking until confirmed by North Essex Airport Transfers by email.

The Transfer:
Passengers are not allowed to smoke or consume alcohol in any vehicle and must wear seat belts at all times during the journey.

Passengers are not permitted to consume greasy foods i.e. chips/burgers.

Soft drinks will be allowed at the driver’s discretion.

All Rubbish is to be removed by the passenger.

The Company reserves the right to decline any bookings and to request any passenger(s) to leave the vehicle if it is deemed his/her conduct is incompatible with the safety of the driver.

Any damage internally or externally to the vehicle by any passenger will result in the full price of damage being paid by the passenger.

Additional Pick-Up addresses not confirmed when the booking is made will incur reasonable charges for any additional mileage covered.

Cancellation Policy: 
To cancel a booking please email and telephone us with your booking details within the following stipulated time periods.

All fully prepaid bookings cancelled 24 hours in advance will be refunded in full minus a transaction fee of £5.

All fully prepaid bookings cancelled between 24 and 12 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund minus a transaction fee of £5. 

All fully prepaid bookings cancelled within 12 hours will receive no refund. 

No refunds will be issued:
Cancellations notified less than 12 hours.
 
If the passenger books the transfer for a wrong date, wrong flight number and other misleading information.
 
If the passenger leaves the pickup point without informing North Essex Airport Transfers for any reason whatsoever. A current mobile number must be supplied so our driver can advise passenger of their arrival or any delay in arriving.

If the passenger misses their flight into the UK, the passenger must inform North Essex Airport Transfers immediately by phone, email or text so alternative arrangements can be made. Failure to do so will result in no refund of the fare paid.

The driver will wait in the arrival hall up to 1 hour 30 minutes from flight landing time, if the passenger fails to meet the driver within this time limit or fails to make contact via phone, email or text to inform their status at the airport or seaport, this will be considered as a no show. The fare will not be refunded in the event of a no show.
  
Liabilities:
North Essex Airport Transfers cannot be held responsible for any financial losses, missed flights, trains or meetings because the car is not arriving at the pick-up location at the booked time due to adverse weather, vehicle breakdown, traffic conditions, or road traffic accidents, road closures or event destruction. 
We will call and inform the customer as soon as we are aware of the delay and it is passenger’s responsibility to make the decision to wait for our car to arrive or to make alternative travel arrangements.

If alternative travel arrangements are made by the passenger, North Essex Airport Transfers will not be liable for the cost of that journey under any circumstances, unless agreed with the business owner before such arrangements are confirmed.

The Company accepts no responsibilities for any loss or damage to any property or luggage carried in the car however such loss or damage is caused.

General Conditions:
If you have a problem and/or complaint it is essential that you inform the driver immediately. If you wish to make a formal complaint, please notify our office in writing no later than 5 working days after your planned journey.

Without prior notice, North Essex Airport Transfers reserves the right to amend, change, delete or add to these terms and conditions whenever it deems it necessary.

All advertised website fare prices are subject to change without notice
